Okay, so I’ve been getting really into astrology lately, and I wanted to see if I could figure out the transits for February 2024 myself. It sounded kinda complicated at first, but I just dove in.
Getting Started
First, I needed to find, like, a base chart. I used some online tool. It spit out a chart for February 1st, 2024, which was good enough for a starting point.

Tracking the Movements
Then, the fun (and slightly confusing) part began. I knew the planets move at different speeds, so I needed to track how much they’d shift throughout the month.
- Sun: This one was pretty straightforward. The Sun moves about a degree per day, so it’s easy to estimate where it will be.
- Moon: The Moon is super fast! It changes signs every couple of days, so I had to really pay attention to this one. I found a Moon calendar online, it helped track, I just noted down each sign change.
- Mercury, Venus, Mars: These guys are a bit trickier than the Sun, but not as wild as the Moon. Some online resources can help show their daily movements. I tracked the changes, tried to note the dates when each one changed signs.
- Jupiter and Saturn: Okay, these outer planets move much slower. They’re more about the overall vibe of the month (or even year!) rather than day-to-day changes. I checked their positions at the start and end of February, they basically stayed put.
- Uranus, Neptune, Pluto: Forget about huge shifts with these. They’re the really slow-moving generational planets. I just made a note of what signs they were in.
Putting It All Together
I basically made a big table in my notebook. Dates down one side, planets across the top. Then I just started filling it in, day by day, marking where each planet would be. When a planet changed signs, I highlighted that to make it stand out.
It took a while, and I definitely had to double-check things a few times, but I ended up with a pretty good overview of the major transits for February 2024. It felt really cool to work it out myself, instead of just reading someone else’s interpretation!
