Okay, so the other day, I was messing around online and stumbled upon this thing called Enneagram. I’d heard about it before, like, vaguely, but never really looked into it. And then, of course, there’s astrology, which I’ve always been a little curious about, you know, the whole “What’s your sign?” thing.
So I thought, “Why not try to put these two together?” A little experiment, you know? See if my personality type in the Enneagram matches up with anything in my astrological chart.

Digging into Enneagram
First, I needed to figure out my Enneagram type. I found a free test online, looked okay, and started to answer questions about my personality. It felt a little weird, like, really digging deep into why I do things. Not just “I’m organized,” but “Why am I organized? Is it because I crave control, or because I genuinely love order, or something else?”
The test took a while, Lots of questions! Finally, boom, results! It said I was a Type Six, “The Loyalist.” I started reading the description, and honestly, it was kinda freaky how accurate some of it felt. The whole thing about being anxious and needing security, always preparing for the worst-case scenario… yeah, that’s me.
My Astrology Chart
Next, I started to learn astrology. So I found a site online that could create my birth chart, I entered my birth date, time, and place. Up popped this circle with all these weird symbols and lines. I’m a Scorpio, that I do know, but there’s apparently way more to it than just your Sun sign. You’ve got your Moon sign, Rising sign, all these different planets in different “houses”… it was overwhelming.
Trying to Connect the Dots
This is where it got tricky. I had my Enneagram type (Six, the Loyalist) and this whole complicated birth chart. Now I had to see if there were any connections. I started Googling things like “Enneagram Type Six and Scorpio” or “Enneagram and astrology correlations.”
I found some interesting stuff, some websites and forums where people were discussing similar things. Some people were saying that certain Enneagram types tend to correlate with certain astrological signs or placements.

- Some said Type Sixes often have strong placements in signs like Cancer or Virgo, which are known for being cautious and detail-oriented.
- Others said that the placement of Saturn in your chart could be a big indicator of Enneagram Six tendencies, since Saturn is associated with responsibility and fear.
I started to check my own chart for these things. My Saturn is in Capricorn, which, from what I gathered, is a pretty strong placement that reinforces that sense of responsibility. I did found that my moon is in Cancer!
My Conclusion
So, did I find any definitive, mind-blowing connections? Not really. But it was interesting! It felt like looking at myself through two different lenses. The Enneagram gave me this in-depth personality profile, and the astrology chart added another layer of complexity. It helped me understand the possible correlation.
I’m definitely going to keep looking into this. It’s kind of addictive, trying to piece together these different systems and see how they might reflect who you are. It’s all a bit “woo-woo,” maybe, but it’s fun, and it’s making me think about myself in new ways. Who knows, maybe there’s something to all of this after all!
