Hey, everyone, I’m back again to share some recent insights. Today, I’ve been diving into something called “final dispositor astrology.” Sounds a bit complex, but let’s break it down together, just like we always do.
So, where did I start? Well, I had this natal chart in front of me, and I was curious about the concept of a “final dispositor.” I began by looking at each planet and the sign it was in. Then, I checked to see which planet ruled that sign. It’s like a little detective game, where you follow the clues to see who’s really in charge.

I started making a list. For example, if Mars was in Aries, I’d note that down because Mars rules Aries. Next, I moved on to the next planet. Let’s say Venus was in Taurus – another point for Venus, as it rules Taurus. I kept doing this, planet by planet, sign by sign. It was a bit tedious, but I found it pretty satisfying to see the patterns emerge.
After that, I started to trace these “rulership chains.” If a planet was in a sign ruled by another planet, I’d draw a line connecting them. It became this web of connections, showing how each planet was influenced by others. It’s like seeing the behind-the-scenes power dynamics of the chart.
- First, I looked for a planet that was in its own sign – like Saturn in Capricorn.
- Then, I checked if there were any other planets in their own signs. If there weren’t, that was a good sign.
- I kept tracing these connections until I could see if one planet was ultimately influencing all the others, without being influenced itself.
It took a while, but I finally managed to identify a planet that seemed to be the “final dispositor.” This planet was in its own sign and didn’t have any other rulers above it. It was like the CEO of the chart, the one really pulling the strings. I realized this could be a big deal for understanding the overall energy of the chart.
Once I figured this out, I started thinking about what it meant. This “final dispositor” seemed to have a lot of influence over how the person expressed themselves, their motivations, and their general approach to life. It’s like finding the main theme of a story or the key ingredient in a recipe.
I’m still learning about all of this, but I wanted to share my process with you guys. It’s been a fun and insightful journey, and I hope you find it as interesting as I did. I encourage you to try it out with your own charts and see what you discover!
Keep exploring, keep learning, and I’ll see you in the next post!
