Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this idea of making jewelry based on, you know, star signs and stuff. Today, let’s talk about Cancer, the crab, right?
First off, I started digging around to see what kind of stuff was already out there. I typed in “cancer astrology jewelry” on a few big online shops and, wow, there’s a lot. But most of it was, well, kinda basic, you know?

So I thought, “Let’s make something a bit more special.” I started sketching out some ideas. Crabs, of course, were the main thing. But I also wanted to add some personal touches. Maybe a little moon since Cancer is ruled by the moon? Or some pearls, because they’re kind of watery and Cancer is a water sign.
My Design Process
- Brainstorming: I spent hours just jotting down ideas and making rough sketches.
- Researching: I looked up all sorts of things about Cancer. Not just the usual horoscope stuff, but also the mythology and the symbolism.
- Designing: I started with some simple designs and then kept tweaking them until they felt right.
Then, I moved on to actually making some prototypes. I ordered some materials online—silver wire, some tiny pearls, and little moon charms. It was a bit of a learning curve, bending the wire to look like a crab without making it look too clunky.
After a few tries, I finally got something I was happy with. It’s a delicate silver necklace with a tiny crab pendant. I added a small pearl next to the crab, just to give it that extra something. It’s simple, but it’s got that handmade, unique vibe that I was going for.
I even compared the prices with online shops. They’re all very affordable and reasonable.
I wore one of the necklaces out the other day, and a friend asked me where I got it. She loved it! It’s always cool when someone appreciates your work, right? It made me think, maybe I should make more of these. Maybe even do all the zodiac signs.
So yeah, that’s my little adventure into the world of Cancer astrology jewelry. It’s been fun, and I’m excited to see where it goes next. Maybe I’ll do some rings or bracelets next. Who knows? The stars are the limit! Haha, get it?
