Okay, here’s my blog post about making a “cancer astrology necklace”, written in a casual, personal style, and using basic HTML tags:
So, I’ve been seeing these cute astrology necklaces all over, and I really wanted one. But I didn’t want to just buy one, you know? I wanted to make it myself, add that personal touch. I’m a Cancer, so that’s what I went with, but obviously, you can adapt this to whatever your sign is.

First, I gathered my materials. I already had some basic jewelry-making supplies, like:
- Jewelry pliers (round nose and flat nose)
- Jump rings (various sizes)
- A chain (I chose a delicate silver one)
- Clasps
- Some wire.
Then, I found some polymer clay, and get a cutter, also get a texture sheet if you like.
The Fun Part: Making the Pendant
Next, I started working the clay. I rolled it and made some small ball for the cancer symbolic. I really took my time with this, making sure they had the shape I wanted.
Then, I put them all together to created the cancer symbolic.
After that, I baked all of them according to the clay’s instructions. Let me tell you, waiting for it to cool down was the hardest part!

Once the charm was cool and hard, I used a tiny drill bit (you can also use a strong needle if you’re careful) to make a small hole at the top of the pendant for the jump ring.
Finally, I assembled everything! I opened a jump ring with my pliers, slid it through the hole in the pendant, and then attached it to the chain. I added a clasp to the ends of the chain using more jump rings. And… done!
I’m seriously so happy with how it turned out! It’s not perfect, but it’s mine, and that’s what makes it special. Plus, it was way cheaper than buying a pre-made one. If you’re crafty at all, I totally recommend giving this a try. It’s a fun little project, and you end up with a unique piece of jewelry.
