Okay, so today I decided to mess around with astrology and see how it lined up with Tax Day. Honestly, I don’t know much about astrology, but it seemed like a fun little experiment.
Getting Started
First, I had to, you know, actually figure out what I was doing. I started by good old Google and looked up some basic astrology stuff – zodiac signs, houses, planets, all that jazz. I scribbled down some notes, mostly just to keep track of what everything supposedly meant.

Digging into the Details
Next, I needed to find the astrological chart for Tax Day, which is April 15th in the US. I found some websites that generate birth charts, and since Tax Day isn’t a person, I just used it as if it were a birthday. I entered the date, and picked a random time, noon, because, why not?
The chart popped up, and it was a bunch of circles and lines and symbols. I felt a little bit like I was trying to read ancient hieroglyphs. I went back to my notes and those websites and slowly started to piece together what I thought it all meant.
Making Some Sense of It (Maybe?)
So, apparently, the sun was in Aries on Tax Day. According to my notes, Aries is all about being assertive and energetic, which I guess kind of makes sense for a day when everyone’s rushing to get their taxes done. I saw that the moon was in, I think, Sagittarius? That’s supposed to be about optimism and expansion. Maybe that means we all hope for big tax returns? I’m just guessing here.
I also looked at the different houses. if i am being honest, those were even more confusing. I think the second house has something to do with money and possessions, so I focused on that. It had some planet in it, I can’t even remember which one now, but the description said something about practicality and resources. Seems fitting, right?
My “Expert” Conclusion (Haha)
After staring at this chart and my notes for way too long, I came to my very unofficial, very amateur conclusion: Tax Day astrologically seems to be about taking action (Aries) and hoping for the best (Sagittarius), while also being practical about your finances (that second house thing).
Does this actually mean anything? Probably not. But it was a fun little dive into something completely different. And hey, maybe next year, I’ll check my own astrological chart before I do my taxes, just for kicks.
