Okay, so I’ve been diving into this whole “astrology observations” thing lately, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I started out pretty skeptical, you know? Like, how can the position of stars and planets actually affect our lives? But I figured, what the heck, might as well give it a shot and see what happens.
First, I downloaded a few astrology apps. There are a TON out there, so it was kind of overwhelming. I just picked a couple that looked popular and had decent reviews.
Getting Started
Then came the fun part (and also the confusing part): figuring out my birth chart. This basically involves entering your birth date, time, and location. The apps do the calculations, spitting out this crazy-looking wheel with all sorts of symbols and lines. Honestly, I had no idea what I was looking at initially.
- So, I started Googling. A LOT. I found some websites and blogs that explained the basics of birth charts – what each planet represents, the different houses, and those weird symbols (aspects, they’re called).
- I even watched a few YouTube videos. Some were super helpful, others were just…out there. It’s a mixed bag, you gotta sift through the fluff.
Making Observations
Once I had a slightly better grasp of my chart, I started paying attention to the daily horoscopes in the apps. Not just my sun sign (I’m a Gemini, by the way), but also my moon and rising signs. The apps give you these little blurbs about what to expect each day, based on where the planets are currently.
And here’s the thing… I started noticing patterns. Like, on days when the apps said my communication might be off (Mercury retrograde, anyone?), I did seem to have more misunderstandings or tech glitches. Or when they predicted I’d feel extra emotional (thanks, moon!), I definitely felt more weepy or sensitive.
It wasn’t always spot-on, of course. Some days, the horoscopes felt completely off. But other times, they were eerily accurate. It was enough to make me think, “Hmm, maybe there’s something to this after all.”
Taking Notes
To keep track of everything, I started a little journal. Nothing fancy, just a notebook where I jotted down the main astrological events of the day (like, “Moon in Taurus” or “Venus trine Jupiter”) and then wrote a few sentences about how my day went. Did I feel energized? Anxious? Did anything significant happen?
I made sure to write it every day. Sometimes it’s just a few words like “Feeling good” or “Focus is so bad” etc.

The Verdict (So Far)
I’m still pretty new to all of this, but I’m finding it surprisingly insightful. It’s not that I believe astrology dictates my every move, but it’s like having a weather forecast for my emotions and energy levels. It helps me understand why I might be feeling a certain way, and maybe even be a little more prepared for it.
It’s a work in progress, and I’m definitely still learning. But hey, it’s been a fun and interesting experiment so far. Who knows, maybe I’ll become a full-blown astrology convert eventually! But for now, I’m just enjoying the ride and seeing where it takes me.
