Okay, so today I decided to mess around with something totally new for me – “star of david astrology.” I’d seen some cool patterns online and thought, “Why not give it a shot?”
First, I grabbed a piece of paper and a pencil. Gotta start with the basics, right? I drew a circle, freehand, because who needs a compass? It was a little wobbly, but hey, it’s my first time. Then, I tried to draw an equilateral triangle inside. Emphasis on “tried.” It took a few attempts to get something that looked remotely like a triangle. Let’s just say my geometry skills are a bit rusty.

Next, I needed to draw another triangle, but upside down, overlapping the first one to create that six-pointed star. This was even trickier. I kept messing up the angles and had to erase a bunch of times. My paper started to look a little worse for wear, but I pressed on. It took more tries. I made sure to make a blunt pencil mark on the *, I had something that resembled the Star of David. It wasn’t perfect, but it was recognizable!
The Planet Part
Now for the astrology bit. I didn’t really know where to start, so I just picked some planets and scribbled their symbols in the points of the star. I put the Sun in one, the Moon in another, and then just randomly added Mars, Venus, Jupiter, and Saturn. I have no idea if this is how it’s supposed to be done, but it looked kinda cool.
- Sun
- Moon
- Mars
- Venus
- Jupiter
- Saturn
I then looked up in the astrology books some *, I doodled some lines connecting the planets, trying to make it look all mystical and stuff. Again, no clue if this has any actual astrological meaning, but it was fun to do. My finished product was a bit of a mess, but a colorful mess!
So, that was my adventure with “star of david astrology.” I definitely learned that my drawing skills need some work, and that maybe I should do a little more research before diving into something like this. But hey, it was a fun way to spend an afternoon, and I ended up with a unique piece of “art” to show for it. Maybe I’ll try it again sometime, with a compass and a bit more knowledge next time!
