Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this here zodiac sign calendar thing. I ain’t no fancy scholar or nothin’, but I know a thing or two about watchin’ the sky and how it affects folks.
First off, they got these twelve signs, like Aries, Taurus, and all them others. Sounds like a bunch of mumbo jumbo, I know, but folks say it means somethin’. Like, Aries, they say them folks born under that sign are like rams, all headstrong and fiery. Aries Horoscope Dates: March 21 – April 19. Aries Symbol: The Ram represents Aries. My old man, he was an Aries. Stubborn as a mule, he was, but a good heart, ya know? Always chargin’ forward, just like that ram. Then you got Taurus, they say them folks are steady and strong like bulls. And Gemini, they say them folks are two-faced. Always changin’ their mind, like the wind.

I don’t really pay attention to all that sign stuff, but it’s kinda like knowin’ when the moon be full, so you can plant your seeds. It’s just nature, ya know? Every year, the sun enters Arieson the same day as the Spring Equinox. This is the starting point of the zodiac and the astrological year. Ruled by fiery and intense Mars. Folks say that time be good for startin’ new things. Makes sense, I guess, spring is when everything starts growin’ again.

Now, some folks say there’s a thirteenth sign, somethin’ called Ophiuchus, the snake holder. Ophiuchus (/ˌɒfiˈjuːkəs/; Ancient Greek: Ὀφιοῦχος, lit. ‘Serpent-bearer’; astrological symbol ⛎︎) has been proposed as a 13th sign of the sidereal and tropical zodiac. I don’t know nothin’ about that. Sounds kinda spooky to me. But then again, there’s a lot of things I don’t know. I just stick to what I can see, ya know? The sun, the moon, the stars… they tell ya more than any fancy book ever could.
Then they talk about the “big three” in this astrology stuff. The big three in astrology stands for sun signs, moon signs and rising signs. Sun sign, that’s the one most folks know about, the one that tells ya what kind of critter you are, like that ram or bull I was talkin’ about. Moon sign, that’s about your feelings, how you are inside, ya know? And risin’ sign? That’s how you appear to other folks, your first impression. It’s all kinda complicated, if ya ask me.
I heard tell that these signs can tell ya about your character, what makes ya tick, and what you’re supposed to do in life. Discover what your date of birth tells about your character, motivation and purpose in life. I don’t know about all that. Seems to me, life is what you make it. You gotta work hard, be kind to folks, and try to do the right thing. That’s what my mama always told me, and that’s good enough for me.
Anyways, some folks, they like to keep track of all this stuff with calendars. They got these fancy calendars with all the signs and dates and moon phases. Summary of yearly / monthly overviews as well as dates, times, and descriptions of New Moons and Full Moons, Planetary Stations (retrograde and direct dates). You can even put your own pictures on ‘em now, I hear. Creer jouw fotokalender met de Albelli App. Upload een foto direct vanuit je telefoon. Groot assortiment kalender formaten en papiersoorten. Onbeperkt creatieve * visitors: Over 10K in the past monthPremium fotopapier1. I reckon that’s nice, puttin’ pictures of your grandkids on somethin’ you look at every day. But me, I just look at the sky. That’s the best calendar there is.
And they talk about the planets movin’ around and how that affects things too. Like, March 1 — Sun in Pisces sextile Jupiter in Taurus. Get ready to say “white rabbit. I don’t know much about that, but I do know the moon pulls the tides, so I guess them planets could be doin’ somethin’ too. It’s all a big mystery, ya know? But it’s a beautiful mystery.

So, that’s what I know about this here zodiac sign calendar thing. Not much, maybe, but enough to get by. Just remember to look up at the sky every now and then, and you might just learn somethin’ too. The Western zodiac originated in Babylonian astrology, and was later influenced by the Hellenistic culture. Seems like folks been lookin’ at the stars for a long, long time. Maybe there’s somethin’ to it after all.
