So, I’ve been messing around with this whole “moon in zodiac calendar” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a wild ride. I’ve always been kinda fascinated by astrology, but never really dove deep into it, you know? Figured it was time to change that. I started by reading up on what the moon sign actually means. Apparently, it’s a big deal in astrology, like, it’s supposed to represent your inner emotional self, your instincts, and how you connect with your feelings and stuff.
First things first, I needed to figure out what my own moon sign is. After I dug into my own birth chart. Found out my moon sign and it turns out to be pretty spot-on with how I see myself, which was kinda cool.

Then, I started tracking the moon’s movement through the different zodiac signs. I used a few different resources for this, but mostly just paid attention to the moon itself in the sky each night and made my own observations about the changing phases of the moon, like when it’s waxing or waning, and how it seems to shift a bit in the sky as the days go by. It’s actually pretty neat to watch when you’re paying attention. I also started taking notes on how I was feeling each day, paying close attention to my moods and intuitions. I wanted to see if there were any patterns that lined up with where the moon was in its cycle.
It’s pretty interesting when you think about it, the moon going through this cycle every month, spending like two and a half days in each sign. It’s like this constant change happening up there, and it’s supposed to be connected to changes happening inside us, emotionally speaking. And it also impacts our relationships with others.
Here are what I found:
- Aries Moon: When the moon’s in Aries, I feel more energetic and impulsive, ready to take on new challenges. It was like I had this extra fire lit under me.
- Taurus Moon: This one’s all about stability and comfort. I find myself craving good food, cozy blankets, and just chilling out.
- Gemini Moon: My mind goes into overdrive here. I’m super curious, want to learn everything, and chat with everyone.
- Cancer Moon: This is when I get all emotional and sensitive. I feel more connected to my family and home during this time.
- Leo Moon: Time to shine! I feel more confident and creative when the moon’s in Leo. It’s like I want to be the center of attention.
- Virgo Moon: I become a total perfectionist. I’m all about organizing, cleaning, and getting things done.
- Libra Moon: This one’s about balance and harmony. I’m more focused on my relationships and making sure everyone’s happy.
- Scorpio Moon: Things get intense. I feel things more deeply, and I’m drawn to anything mysterious or hidden.
- Sagittarius Moon: I get this urge to travel and explore. I’m all about freedom and adventure during this time.
- Capricorn Moon: Time to get serious. I’m more focused on my goals and responsibilities when the moon’s in Capricorn.
- Aquarius Moon: I feel like breaking the rules and doing things differently. It’s all about being unique and independent.
- Pisces Moon: This is when I’m most intuitive and dreamy. I feel more connected to my spiritual side.
Honestly, there were days when I felt like it was all a bunch of mumbo jumbo. But then there were other days when things lined up so perfectly, it was kinda freaky. Like, I’d be feeling super emotional and then realize, “Oh yeah, the moon’s in Cancer right now. Makes sense.”
I’m still not sure what I totally believe about all this astrology stuff. But I gotta say, it’s been a fun experiment. It’s made me more aware of my own emotions and how they fluctuate. And it’s kinda cool to think that there might be this cosmic connection between what’s happening up in the sky and what’s going on inside me. It is about the private self and its anxieties.
I’m gonna keep tracking the moon and see where this journey takes me. Who knows, maybe I’ll become a full-blown astrology believer by the end of it. Or maybe not. Either way, it’s been an interesting ride.
