So, I got this idea to get a Chinese zodiac tattoo. It all started when I was reading up on those zodiac signs, you know, the rat, ox, tiger, and all that. Found out I’m a Dragon, which is pretty cool, right? I mean, who wouldn’t want to be a mythical creature?
First thing I did was look up a Chinese Zodiac calculator online to confirm my sign. I mean you need to be double sure, you know?

Then I did some reading and turns out the rat got first place in some ancient Emperor’s race, but it did so through cunning and all that. And every animal’s got its own story.
Anyway, getting a tattoo that’s all about my zodiac sign just felt right. It’s like, this is me, this is a part of who I am. So, I started checking out different tattoo designs. I’m not into those big, flashy ones, you know? I wanted something simple but meaningful.
- Looked up designs: I spent hours scrolling through pictures of Chinese zodiac tattoos. There are so many styles out there!
- Chose a style: I decided to go with a minimalistic animal silhouette. It’s just a simple outline of the animal, but it looks really classy.
- Found an artist: This was the tricky part. I wanted someone who could do a good job with the clean lines of the design. Asked around, checked portfolios, the whole nine yards.
- Got it done: Finally, I took the plunge and got the tattoo. It was a bit painful, ngl, but totally worth it.
Here’s what I did:
Now, I’ve got this awesome Dragon tattoo on my wrist. It’s a constant reminder of my sign and all the cool stuff that comes with it. It’s like carrying a little piece of ancient legend with me everywhere I go.
