Okay, here’s my story about how I used astrology in my personal branding.
So, I was really trying to figure out my “thing,” you know? What makes me, me? And how do I show that to the world in a way that feels real? I tried a bunch of stuff, reading books about branding, taking online courses, even hiring a coach. But nothing felt quite right. It all felt kinda fake, like I was trying to be someone I wasn’t. Then, I remembered something I’d been into since I was a kid: astrology.

I’ve always been fascinated by the stars and how they might relate to who we are. I used to read my horoscope all the time, just for fun. But then I thought, “Wait a minute, what if there’s something more to this?” So, I decided to give it a shot. I dug out my old astrology books and started doing some research online. I learned about my Sun sign, which is basically your core personality. Mine’s Leo, which means I’m supposedly creative, passionate, and a natural leader. Then there’s your Moon sign, which is all about your emotions and inner self. Mine’s in Cancer, so I’m also sensitive, intuitive, and nurturing. And finally, there’s your Rising sign, which is how you present yourself to the world. Mine’s Scorpio, which adds a layer of intensity, mystery, and determination.
Here’s where it got interesting.
I started to see how these different parts of my astrological profile actually fit together. I’m a creative person (Leo), but I’m also deeply emotional (Cancer), and I come across as pretty intense (Scorpio). Once I had a better understanding of my astrological profile, I started thinking about how I could use that in my branding. I realized that my brand values—the things that are most important to me—were totally in line with my astrological traits. For example, as a Leo, I value creativity and self-expression. As a Cancer, I value connection and empathy. And as a Scorpio, I value authenticity and depth.
I decided to focus on these traits when building my brand. Next, I thought about the visual elements of my brand. I picked colors, fonts, and images that felt like “me” based on my astrological signs. For example, I used warm colors like gold and orange to represent my Leo Sun, and deep blues and purples to represent my Scorpio Rising. I also incorporated symbols and imagery associated with my signs, like the lion for Leo and the scorpion for Scorpio. I also used a lot of water imagery to represent my Cancer Moon.
- Dived deep into my birth chart: I didn’t just read my daily horoscope. I really studied my birth chart, which is like a snapshot of the sky at the moment you were born. It shows the positions of all the planets and how they relate to each other.
- Figured out my brand values: I thought long and hard about what’s really important to me and how I want to show up in the world. I realized that my values were closely tied to my astrological signs.
- Translated those values into visuals: I picked colors, fonts, and images that matched my astrological vibe. I wanted my brand to feel authentic and consistent with who I am.
- Wove it all into my content: I started incorporating astrological themes into my blog posts, social media captions, and even my email newsletters. I didn’t go overboard, but I sprinkled in some astro-talk here and there to make it more “me.”
Here are the key steps I took:
Honestly, it was a lot of fun! And the best part? It actually worked! People started to notice. They told me my brand felt more genuine, more relatable. I started attracting clients and followers who were really aligned with my values and my vibe. It was like magic! But it wasn’t just about attracting people. It was also about feeling more confident and authentic in myself. I wasn’t trying to be someone I wasn’t anymore. I was just being me, the Leo-Cancer-Scorpio me. And that felt amazing. And you know what? It felt really good to finally be myself. It was like I was giving myself permission to be who I really am, and people were responding to that. Now, I’m not saying you have to be into astrology to build a strong personal brand. But for me, it was a game-changer. It helped me understand myself better, connect with my audience on a deeper level, and create a brand that truly reflects who I am.
So, if you’re struggling to find your brand identity, maybe give astrology a try. You might be surprised at what you discover about yourself. And who knows, it might just help you create a brand that’s truly out of this world!
