What’s a Tarot Deck Anyway?
Now, you might be askin’, what in tarnation is a tarot deck? Well, it’s a bunch of cards, like playin’ cards, but with different pictures. They got swords, and cups, and stars, and all sorts of things. People use ’em to tell fortunes, like I said. They shuffle ’em up, lay ’em out, and try to figure out what the future holds.
Some folks, they collect these cards. Like stamps, or them little spoons. I heard of one called “A Curious Oracle”. Fancy name, huh? This fella, he says he’s got the fifth one they made, number 110 out of 120. Must be worth somethin’. I reckon some people are serious about collecting them new tarot decks.
How to Use Them Tarot Cards
Now, if you get yourself a deck of these tarot cards, you gotta learn how to use ’em. First, you look at all the pictures. Don’t gotta remember what they all mean right away, just get to know ’em. Some are happy, some are sad, like life, I reckon.
- Look at the pictures.
- Shuffle them cards real good.
- Twist ’em around when you shuffle, at least 7 times.
- Then you’re ready to go.
Then, you gotta shuffle ’em. Not just any old shuffle, mind you. You gotta shuffle ’em at least seven times, and give ’em a little twist each time. That mixes ’em up real good, they say.
Some Say They Can Change Your Luck
There’s other cards out there, too. One’s called “The Fool”, another is “The Empress”. Sounds important, don’t it? Then there’s “The Hermit”. I guess that’s for folks who like to be alone. These cards are in a game called Balatro. Don’t ask me what that means. Heard it is a computer game.
They say these tarot cards can change things in the game. Make your cards better, or get rid of the bad ones. Even double your money, up to 20 dollars! Sounds like magic to me. But then again a lot of things do these days.
These Newfangled AI Tarot Cards
Now, here’s somethin’ I just heard about. They’re makin’ tarot cards with… computers! They call it “AI”. Artificial somethin’ or other. Means the pictures on the cards ain’t drawn by a person, but by a machine. Can you believe that?
I heard some of these AI pictures come out kinda strange. Too many hands, or words that don’t make no sense. But I guess that’s the way things are goin’ these days. Everything’s gettin’ all mixed up with computers.
