Okay, so I’ve been wanting to make a Scorpio constellation necklace for a while now, and I finally got around to it. Let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey, but I’m pretty stoked with how it turned out.
First off, I had to figure out what I wanted this thing to look like. I mean, there are tons of constellation necklaces out there, but I wanted mine to be a bit more “me”. I’m a Scorpio, so I knew I wanted something that really captured that Scorpio vibe – you know, intense, passionate, and just a little bit mysterious. I did some digging around, looking at different designs and all that. I saw a bunch that just had the star pattern, which is cool, but I wanted something a bit extra.

Then I started thinking about materials. I knew I wanted gemstones in there somewhere. After reading up a little, I found out that Black Tourmaline and Amethyst are good stones for Scorpios. Something about matching our traits, protection and all that jazz. So, I thought, “Why not?” I also saw that some people use red garnet or onyx, which are these deep, rich-colored stones. They’re supposed to symbolize transformation and inner strength. Sounds pretty Scorpio to me!
So, I hit up a few local craft stores. Let me tell you, finding the right beads and charms took way longer than I expected. I was digging through bins of beads like a crazy person. Finally, I found some Black Tourmaline beads that had this cool, almost smoky look to them. I also grabbed some small Amethyst chips – they were kinda rough-looking, but I liked that. It felt more natural, you know?
Next up was the actual constellation part. I decided to use a thin, silver-colored wire to map out the Scorpio constellation. I printed out a template of the constellation, which was a lifesaver. Let me tell you, bending that wire into the right shape was tricky! I used some small pliers, and it took a lot of patience and a few do-overs, but I finally got it looking like the actual constellation. I attached the gemstones to the wire at certain points, kind of like they were the major stars in the constellation.
- Print out a template of the constellation.
- Use a silver-colored wire to map out the Scorpio constellation.
- Use Black Tourmaline and Amethyst gemstone, maybe try red garnet or onyx.
- Attach the gemstone to the wire at certain points, kind of like they were the major stars in the constellation.
- Put them together!
Putting it all together was the fun part. I used a small, delicate silver chain that I already had. I connected the wire constellation to the chain using some jump rings – those little things are a lifesaver, by the way. Once it was all assembled, I put it on, and honestly, I was pretty impressed with myself!
The Black Tourmaline and Amethyst looked really cool against the silver wire, and the whole thing had this edgy, mystical vibe that I was going for. It definitely felt like a Scorpio necklace. I’ve been wearing it for a few days now, and I’ve gotten a bunch of compliments on it, so I guess other people think it’s cool too.
All in all, it was a fun little project. If you’re a Scorpio, or you just want to make a unique piece of jewelry, I say go for it! It’s a great way to show off your star sign and get a little creative. Just be prepared to spend some time hunting for the right materials and getting those wires bent just right! It was a bit of a struggle.

I hope you enjoyed my sharing, see you next time!
