Okay, so I’ve been seeing these “erotic tarot decks” all over my social media feeds, and, well, my curiosity got the better of me. I finally decided to grab one and see what the hype was all about. I mean, tarot is already pretty intriguing, right? Adding a little spice just seemed like it could be…interesting.
First, I spent a good chunk of time just browsing. There are a TON of these decks out there. Seriously, it’s overwhelming. I scrolled through pages and pages, some were really artistic, some were a little too…graphic for my taste, and some were just plain weird. I eventually settled on one that had a good balance – sensual, but still kinda classy, you know?

When the deck arrived, I was pretty excited. I cleared a space on my table, lit some candles (because ambiance!), and unboxed it. The cards themselves were beautiful. The artwork was really well done, and the imagery was definitely… evocative. I shuffled the deck, just getting a feel for the cards, and noticed that the traditional suits were all there, but the imagery was reinterpreted with, shall we say, a more adult theme.
I decided to do a simple three-card spread – past, present, future. I focused on a general question about my love life (because, why not?), and laid out the cards. Honestly, the interpretations were surprisingly insightful. It wasn’t just about sex; the cards touched on deeper themes of intimacy, connection, and desire. They definitely sparked some interesting thoughts and feelings.
Here the cards that I drew:
- Past: The reversed Lovers, indicating some past relationship disharmony.
- Present: The Knight of Cups, suggesting new romantic opportunities.
- Future:The Ten of Pentacles but shown is the intimate moment, pointing towards long-term fulfillment and pleasure.
I’m still processing the whole experience, but I have to say, it was definitely unique. It’s not something I’d do every day, but it was a fun way to explore a different side of tarot, and maybe even a different side of myself. I guess it’s not for everyone, but if you’re open-minded and curious, it might be worth checking out. Just be prepared for some… interesting card interpretations!
