Hey everyone, so I’ve been messing around with this whole Chinese zodiac thing, and I got curious about the year 1897. Turns out, it was the year of the Fire Rooster. I thought, “Why not dive in and see what this is all about?”
First off, I tried to find out when exactly the year of the Fire Rooster started in 1897. It wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. I searched everywhere!

- I finally found out that the Chinese Lunar Year in 1897 kicked off on Tuesday, February 2nd. Pretty cool, huh?
Then, I got into this rabbit hole of figuring out what being born in the year of the Fire Rooster means. Apparently, there are twelve of these animal signs, each with its own vibe and personality traits. I’m no expert, but it’s kinda interesting to see how this stuff is broken down.
So, what’s the deal with these 1897 Rooster folks? From what I gathered, they’re supposed to be pretty deep thinkers. I read somewhere that they’re known for being warm-hearted, full of love, and always ready to lend a hand. But, they can also be a bit sensitive and might not handle criticism too well. It’s like they have two sides to them – sometimes quiet, sometimes super energetic.
I also stumbled upon some stuff about how Rooster people’s emotions can swing a lot, just like their luck. It said they might be a bit selfish and too direct sometimes, but hey, they’re never boring. And get this, they can be really brave too. They apparently get along best with people born in the years of the Ox, Snake, and Dragon.
Oh, and I learned about another animal – the Rabbit. It’s the fourth one in the Chinese zodiac and is supposed to be the luckiest of all twelve. It stands for mercy, elegance, and beauty. People born in the year of the Rabbit are said to be calm and peaceful.
These Roosters born in 1897 are said to be independent and confident. They are also believed to be practical and observant.
It’s all pretty wild when you think about how much detail goes into this Chinese astrology stuff. I just wanted to share my little adventure into the 1897 Chinese zodiac. It’s way more complex than I initially thought, but definitely a fun little exploration.
