Okay, so, I decided to make a zodiac calendar for August. It sounded fun, and I’ve always been a little curious about astrology, but never really dug into it. This felt like a good project to get my feet wet.
First off, I needed to figure out what the zodiac signs even are for August. Turns out there are two main ones: Leo and Virgo. I jotted those down and started looking up the dates. Leo starts in July, I learned, and goes through most of August, ending around the 22nd. After that, it’s Virgo season.

I made a simple table to organize this:
- Leo: July 23 – August 22
- Virgo: August 23 – September 22
Next, I wanted to add some personality traits, just for fun. I read that Leos are supposed to be charming and attract a lot of friends, which sounded pretty cool. I did not look into Virgos, because my calendar is just about August.
After that, I thought it’d be neat to include the moon phases. I figured that’s gotta be important in astrology, right? I found a website that listed them all out. There’s a new moon and a full moon, and apparently those have their own special meanings. I didn’t get too deep into that yet, but I added the dates to my calendar.
I also found some information about “planetary stations” – something about planets going retrograde and direct. Honestly, I didn’t fully understand what that means, but it sounded important, so I marked down the dates for those too.
I ended up with a pretty good-looking calendar! It’s got the zodiac signs, the dates, some basic personality stuff, moon phases, and those planetary station things. I’m actually kind of proud of it. It was a fun little project, and I learned a bit about astrology along the way. Might do this again for September!
My calendar looks like this
-
Leo (July 23 – August 22):
- Charming.
- Attracts many friends.
- Dates: July 23 – August 22.
-
Important Dates:
- New Moon: (I added the date based on my research).
- Full Moon: (Added the date as well).
- Planetary Stations: (Noted the retrograde and direct dates).
Feel free to make your own zodiac calendar too! Let me know if you have any questions!
