Okay, so, I’ve been trying to make a calendar with all the zodiac signs on it. It started as a kinda dumb idea, but then it turned into this whole thing.
Getting Started
First off, I had to get all my ducks in a row. I’m talking about getting the order of the zodiac signs right. I mean, who even remembers that stuff off the top of their head? Not me. So, I did a quick search and got the list: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces. Easy peasy.

Next, I needed to figure out the dates. This was a bit trickier. I found a bunch of different sources, and some of them didn’t match up. But, you know, after digging around some more, I managed to piece together a timeline that seemed right. I went through a bunch of websites, and let me tell you, it was a mess. After sweating it out for like an hour, I finally had all my dates lined up, and I was feeling pretty good about it.
Designing the Thing
Now, onto the design part. I’m no artist, but I wanted this thing to look halfway decent. I busted out my old drawing tablet – man, that thing’s seen better days – and started sketching out some ideas. Decided to go with a simple layout, just a basic grid with the zodiac signs and their corresponding dates. I picked some colors that I thought looked cool together, nothing too crazy. It felt like I was back in school, working on some art project. It took a few tries, but I ended up with something I was reasonably happy with.
Putting It All Together
After all that, it was time to put it all together. I thought about just printing it out, but then I figured, why not make it digital? So, I opened up one of those website builders, you know the type, drag and drop, super simple, and started building. It was actually kind of fun. I added in the grid, typed out all the signs and dates, and even managed to add in some small drawings for each sign. I found some free images online and made them fit. I spent a good chunk of the afternoon messing around with it, moving things here and there, changing colors, you know, the usual.
The Final Product
Finally, I had my calendar. It wasn’t perfect, but I did it! I even shared it with a couple of my buddies, and they seemed to like it. One of them even asked if I could make one for their kid’s birthday. I mean, it’s not like I’m gonna start selling these things, but it’s cool to know that people actually dig it.
- Aries: March 21 – April 19
- Taurus: April 20 – May 20
- Gemini: May 21 – June 20
- Cancer: June 21 – July 22
- Leo: July 23 – August 22
- Virgo: August 23 – September 22
- Libra: September 23 – October 22
- Scorpio: October 23 – November 21
- Sagittarius: November 22 – December 21
- Capricorn: December 22 – January 19
- Aquarius: January 20 – February 18
- Pisces: February 19 – March 20
So, yeah, that’s my story about making a zodiac calendar. A simple idea turned into a real adventure! It took longer than I thought, but hey, I learned a few things along the way, and I ended up with something pretty neat.
