Okay, so I’ve been wanting to get into tarot cards for a while, you know, to kinda explore my spiritual side and maybe get a little guidance. I heard about these tarot subscription boxes and thought, “Why not?” So, I decided to give one a try.
First, I did a little digging online to see what my options were. There are a bunch of these subscription services out there, each promising different things. Some focused on just sending you a new tarot or oracle deck each month. Others included stuff like crystals, incense, and even jewelry. I read through a few reviews and decided to go with one called “The Tarot Seeker” because it seemed like a good balance of everything.

I signed up on their website, which was pretty straightforward. They had different tiers, like 3 cards or 5 cards per box, so you could choose how deep you wanted to go. I picked the 3-card option to start, figuring I could always upgrade later. They also promised personal readings with each box, which sounded cool.
The waiting was the hardest part! I was so excited to get my first box. Finally, it arrived, and let me tell you, it was like Christmas morning. I carefully opened it up, and there it was—my first deck of tarot cards. The design was beautiful, really intricate and colorful. And there were the other goodies too, a small crystal, some incense, and a little card explaining the meaning of the 3 cards.
The unboxing experience itself was a lot of fun. It felt like I was getting a special gift just for me. I spent the rest of the day getting to know my new deck, reading the guidebook that came with it, and just admiring the artwork.
- The Fool: New beginnings, taking a leap of faith.
- The World: Assured success, recompense, change of place.
- The Nine of Cups: Your wish is my command.
Over the next few weeks, I started practicing with the cards, doing simple readings for myself. The personal readings that came with the box were also helpful in guiding me and giving me different perspectives. It’s still early days, but I’m really enjoying this journey so far.
I even started a little journal to track my readings and my progress. It’s been a great way to reflect on my thoughts and feelings.
I think one of the biggest surprises was how much I enjoyed the ritual of it all. Setting aside time each day to shuffle the cards, light some incense, and just focus on my intention really helped me to slow down and connect with myself.

I’m definitely going to continue with this subscription for a while. I’m excited to see what other decks and goodies I’ll get in the future. And who knows, maybe I’ll even start doing readings for friends and family someday.
If you’re thinking about getting into tarot, I’d say a subscription box is a great way to start. It takes the guesswork out of choosing a deck, and it’s just a fun and exciting way to explore this ancient practice. Just be prepared to maybe become a little addicted, like me!
Anyway, that’s my experience with my tarot subscription box so far. It’s been a blast, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me. Maybe I’ll do an update in a few months to share my progress. Peace out!
