Okay, so the other day I was messing around online and got really into this whole Aztec calendar thing. You know, the one with all the crazy symbols and stuff? Turns out, it’s not just a calendar, it’s also got like a zodiac system built in. Who knew, right? So, naturally, I had to figure out what my Aztec zodiac sign was.
First, I dug around a bunch of websites trying to find a decent explanation of how this whole thing works. It’s kind of confusing, to be honest. There are like 20 day signs, and they repeat in a cycle, and then there’s another cycle of 13 numbers. It’s not as simple as just finding your birthdate on a chart.

I finally found this one site that had a calculator. You just plug in your birthday, and it spits out your day sign and your number. It was kinda cool, not gonna lie. It took a little bit of time to put in the dates and make sure that I put the right thing in there, but, that was pretty much all I did at this step.
My Aztec Zodiac Sign
- Day Sign: Apparently, I’m a “Crocodile.” Which, I guess is kind of badass. The site said it means I’m supposed to be protective and a leader or something. I’m not sure if that is true, maybe.
- Number: My number is 7. Don’t really know what that means yet. The website had some vague description about balance and stuff. I think I’ll need to look into that more.
After I got my sign, I started looking up what the Crocodile sign is all about. It’s actually pretty interesting. Each sign has its own god associated with it, and a bunch of personality traits and all that jazz. I spent a good hour just reading about crocodiles in Aztec mythology. It’s wild.
So yeah, that’s what I’ve been up to. It’s kind of a random thing to get into, but it’s been a fun little rabbit hole to go down. Now, I’m kinda curious about everyone else’s Aztec signs. It’s like a whole new way to think about astrology and stuff. Maybe I will keep digging into it and share something else next time!
