Okay, so I’ve been seeing these animal tarot cards everywhere lately, and I finally decided to give them a try. I’m not gonna lie, I was a little skeptical at first, but I’m always up for trying new things, especially if they involve cute animal pictures!
First things first, I needed to get my hands on a deck. I did a quick search online and found a bunch of different options, and choose what I liked. I ended up going with one that had really beautiful, whimsical artwork. It just spoke to me, you know?

Getting Started
Once the deck arrived, I was so excited to dive in. I cleared off my kitchen table, lit a candle (because, atmosphere), and spread out the cards. They were even prettier in person! I spent some time just looking at each card, getting a feel for the imagery and the different animals represented.
Doing My First Reading
I shuffled the deck while focusing on a question I had about my work situation. I’m not going to get into the specifics, but let’s just say I’ve been feeling a bit stuck lately.
I decided to do a simple three-card spread: past, present, and future.I must say that I am not a professional tarot card reader, I am just doing this for entertaiment purpose.
The cards I drew were super interesting.
- Past: The card that represented my past was the Rabbit, which is about * means maybe I was so afraid that I missed a lot of chances in the past.
- Present: For the present, I got the Owl. This card, from what I read, is all about intuition and wisdom. It suggested that I needed to trust my gut and really listen to my inner voice to figure out my next steps. Made sense, considering how confused I’ve been feeling!
- Future:And finally, the future card was the Dog. This one felt really positive! It’s about new friendships, loyalty, and helping others. It can also mean new, better opportunities. I choose to believe what I want to believe.
I spent some time journaling about what those cards and meanings could mean. After doing it and seeing the result, I have to say that it really gave me a lot of food for thoughts.
My Takeaway (For Now!)
So, that was my first experience with animal tarot cards! Honestly, it was way more fun and insightful than I expected. I’m not saying it magically solved all my problems, but it definitely gave me a new perspective and some things to ponder. I think I’ll keep playing around with these and see where it takes me. It’s a cool way to tap into your intuition and maybe get a little guidance when you’re feeling lost.
