Okay, so I’ve been wanting to try this “How do they feel about me?” tarot spread for a while now. I finally decided to just go for it today, and I figured I’d share my experience with you guys.
First, I grounded myself. I’m not gonna lie, sometimes I skip this part, but today I felt like I needed it. I just sat quietly for a few minutes, focused on my breathing, and tried to clear my head. You know, get in the zone.

Then, I shuffled my deck. I used my trusty Rider-Waite deck, the one I always use when I’m feeling a bit unsure. While shuffling, I really concentrated on the person I was asking about. I visualized their face, their energy, all that stuff.
The Spread
I laid out the cards in the spread I found online. It looked something like this:
- Card 1: How they see me.
- Card 2: How they feel about me consciously.
- Card 3: How they feel about me subconsciously.
- Card 4: What they want from me.
- Card 5: Where the relationship is headed.
So, I flipped the cards one by one. I won’t bore you with every single detail, but here’s the gist:
- Card 1 (How they see me): The Star. Okay, not bad! I took this to mean they see me as hopeful, inspiring, maybe even a bit of a guiding light. Feeling pretty good about that!
- Card 2 (Conscious feelings): Three of Cups. This one made me smile. Friendship, celebration, good times together. Seems like they genuinely enjoy my company.
- Card 3 (Subconscious feelings): The Lovers. Whoa. This was a surprise. I guess, deep down, there might be some more intense feelings there, maybe some choices to be made, or a deeper connection brewing. Interesting…
- Card 4 (What they want): Page of Swords. This felt like they’re curious, wanting to learn more, communicate, and maybe even have some playful debates. I’m into that.
- Card 5 (Where it’s headed): Ten of Pentacles. Woah, again! This is, like, ultimate stability, long-term happiness, a real solid foundation. I definitely didn’t expect that.
After laying out all the cards, I sat with them for a while. I jotted down some notes in my journal, just my immediate reactions and gut feelings about each card and how they related to each other.
Honestly, I was pretty blown away by this reading. It was way more positive than I expected. But I also know that tarot isn’t about predicting the future, it’s about giving you insight and perspective. So, I’m taking it all with a grain of salt, but it definitely gave me some food for thought and a little boost of hope. I felt the reading was pretty accurate.
I finished up by thanking the cards and putting them away. I’ll probably revisit this reading in a few days, just to see if anything else comes up or if my perspective shifts.
