Let me tell you, I’ve always been a bit of a sky-gazer. Not in a weird way, but I just like looking up at the stars, you know? So, this year, I thought, why not take it up a notch and actually dive into this whole zodiac thing? I decided to make a personalized zodiac calendar for 2024. Yeah, I know, sounds a bit extra, but trust me, it was actually pretty fun!
First off, I started with the basics. I mean, you can’t just jump into this stuff without knowing the fundamentals. So I started figuring out all the signs. You got your Aries, Taurus, Gemini, the whole crew. And each one has its own dates, right? Like, if you’re born between March 21st and April 19th, you’re an Aries, that kind of thing. I made a big list of all of these dates and what sign they were connected to, I’m sure I looked like a total astrology nerd at that point!

Here’s where it got a bit more interesting.
I found out that these signs are also grouped into elements. You’ve got Fire signs, Earth signs, Air signs, and Water signs. I thought that was a cool way to classify them and see how they might interact. I added these element classifications to my big list, color-coding them and everything. Fire signs were red, Earth signs were green, you get the idea. I even found some descriptions for each of the elements and added these next to each group. This wasn’t necessary but it made it more fun to learn about.
Next, I decided to add in the moon phases.
I know, I know, I was really going for it! But I found this website that listed all the new moons and full moons for 2024, with the exact dates and times. I thought it would be kind of cool to see how those lined up with the zodiac signs. I just felt like it would give me a more complete picture of what was going on up there in the sky.
Then I started looking into planetary stations.
I mean, why not, right? I was already in deep! This is basically when planets appear to go retrograde or direct, which just means they look like they’re moving backward or forward in the sky. I had no idea that this even happened! I found a list of these dates too, and added them to my calendar. This took a while, but it was a labor of love at this point, to be honest.
I also looked up something called planetary transits.
These are basically just notes about when planets move through different signs, or make certain aspects to each other. I didn’t want to get too complicated with it, but I added some basic notes about these to the calendar, just to get a feel for the overall vibe of each month.
So, after a few days of nerding out, I finally had my 2024 zodiac calendar! It had all the zodiac signs and their dates, the elements, the moon phases, the planetary stations, and some basic planetary transit notes. It was a bit of a beast, but I was pretty proud of it. I printed it out and put it up on my wall, and I’ve been looking at it every day.
- Started with the 12 zodiac signs and their corresponding dates.
- Grouped the signs by their elements (Fire, Earth, Air, Water).
- Added New Moon and Full Moon dates and times.
- Included Planetary Stations (retrograde and direct dates).
- Noted basic Planetary Transits and aspects.
Did it change my life?
Probably not. But it’s been a fun little project, and I feel like I’ve learned a lot about astrology and the zodiac. Plus, it’s kind of cool to look at my calendar and see what’s supposedly going on in the cosmos. Who knows, maybe I’ll become a full-blown astrology buff by the end of the year! If nothing else, it’s a great conversation starter.
