Okay, so I’ve been seeing these “tarot dress” things popping up all over my social media, and I finally decided to give it a shot. It looked like a fun, creative way to maybe get a little inspiration, you know?
First things first, I grabbed my tarot deck. It’s the one my aunt gave me years ago, the classic Rider-Waite deck. I’m no expert, but I kinda like the imagery.

I shuffled the cards, just like I’ve seen in all those videos. I wasn’t really thinking about anything specific, just kinda letting my mind wander. Then, I pulled three cards.
My Cards and What I Did
- The first card: The Magician. This card is, all, like, about manifestation and resourcefulness.
- The second card: The Queen of Cups. This one represents intuition, compassion, all that good stuff.
- The third card: The Five of Pentacles. Okay, this one’s a little tougher. It can mean hardship, insecurity.
So, I stared at these cards for a bit, trying to figure out what they were telling me, fashion-wise. I didn’t want to go too literal, but I wanted to capture the vibe, get it?
I went to my closet. I don’t have a ton of super fancy clothes, but I figured I could make something work. I started pulling things out that felt like they matched the energy of the cards.
I grabbed a deep red, flowy top, that made of soft fabric. It felt “Magician-y” to me, in a bold, creative way.
For the Queen of Cups, I picked out a long, necklace – it’s not expensive or anything, but it has this calming feel to it that matched the card energy.
The Five of Pentacles was tricky. Finally, I decided to put on simple, comfortable shoes, showing that I was keeping things grounded and practical.

I put it all together. Honestly, it wasn’t some super dramatic transformation. But it felt… different. Like I was channeling something. I took a few pictures, just for myself, to see how it looked.
In the end, it was a fun little experiment. I’m not sure if it unlocked any hidden style secrets, but it definitely got me thinking outside the box. And it was a nice way to spend an afternoon, just messing around with my cards and my clothes. Might try it again sometime!
