Okay, so the other day I was trying to figure out what the Chinese zodiac animal was for 2018. I like keeping track of these things, you know, just for fun. So, I started by just hitting up Google.
I typed in something like “Chinese zodiac 2018” and, boom, tons of stuff popped up. Mostly calendar websites and stuff like that. I clicked around a few, but honestly, a lot of them were kinda cluttered and confusing. Too many ads!
Then I remembered there’s usually a simple Wikipedia page for this kind of thing. So I went to Wikipedia and searched again. Much cleaner! I quickly found a page that listed out all the years and their corresponding animals.
My Little Discovery
- I scrolled down the list, looking for 2018…
- And there it was! 2018 was the year of the Dog. Specifically, the Earth Dog.
It was pretty straightforward, actually. I didn’t need to do anything fancy. No complicated calculations or anything. Just a quick search and a bit of reading. I jotted it down in my notebook – gotta keep my yearly records straight!
So yeah, that’s how I figured out the 2018 Chinese zodiac animal. Easy peasy!
